GreenSmart home

GreenSmart is an initiative of Housing Industry Association Ltd or HIA. To gain GreenSmart accreditation your home needs to showcase environmentally responsible housing design in the following ways:

• Demonstrate improved energy, resource and water efficiency
• Enable home owners to waste less and recycle more
• Reduce the waste from the building process
• Create healthier homes for occupants
• Improve site management during construction

Your new Designer Eco Home will encompass all of the above elements and be issued a certificate from HIA and a Star Rating. Our standard packages offer between a 5.5 – 6 star rating. As each design will be different depending on the block and your lifestyle, this exact rating cannot be determined until the design process is complete. If you wish to pursue a higher star rating with the use of other environmentally conscious building materials or techniques than that which is states in our standard inclusions, we are ready and willing to help.
