BASIX Certification

Building Sustainability Index is a government initiative to increase the performance of new dwellings in the area of water and energy. BASIX targets a wide range of options such as rainwater tanks, water-saving fixtures, improved insulation, passive solar orientation, natural lighting and native plants for gardens. All new homes must have as a minimum BASIX certification and when compared with the GreenSmart Star Rating is about 4.5 Stars. Your new Designer Eco Home will achieve between 5.5 – 6 Star rating
